    こんな凄い日本の文化は見たことがない‼️
    最初の「キンキラキン」は、私が個人的に一二番に好きな民謡です。歌も本当に民謡が分かって歌っているし、また独特の色気と言うか完全に、歌の世界に入ってる。可愛い子供達の踊りも一生懸命に、踊っていて時々よろけそうになるけど。可愛いすぎて涙さえ出てきそうになる。
    これは永久保存版です。
    私は現在73歳になる老人だが、七代続いた江戸っ子です。母方の「家系」を見るとどうやら九州熊本の細川家の、場内家老だったようで、この歳で初めて熊本へ行き、滞在2日間は震災後だったが、書ききれないほどいろいろあり、感動のしっぱなしだった!
    現代音楽やバロック音楽の勉強をしてきたが、日本民謡は凄い!
    日本列島北から南まで、その土地の風土情緒、生活などを歌に表してこんにちに伝えてる。
    因みに一番好きな民謡は「陽気節」とか「長崎ぶらぶら節」等です。日本人ならこれからも、素晴らしい日本民謡を聞き継ましょう。

      I would not call it dance, it is too calm and sleepy for it. Also it lacks synchronization, and rhythm and often looses its smoothness. It is more like a performance. Kimonos are beautiful, I agree.

      @mariafernandes874 8 лет назад +17

      Well, maiko and geiko retire for different reasons, often very private ones, so these are not discussed in public.
      Famous Geiko Kikuyu of Hanafusa okiya in Miyagawacho retired to get married for example. Rumors say, that Mamefuji of Gion Kobu retired to be with her family after earthquakes hit her families town. But in most cases there is no reason given to public.

      @sashes.k7627 10 лет назад +1

      I think they have become Maiko already, because they are not wearing the Kanzashi. And their lipstick is applied on both lower and upper lips. They become Geiko after the age of 20, I believe. From 15 to 20 years of age- they are Maiko.

    • @Oshidorinohina
      @Oshidorinohina 10 лет назад +8

      They are maiko, the darari obi is always associated with maiko symbolizing apprentice ship along with the long sleeves of their hikizuri to say "look at me im dressed flashy and rely on my looks more than my skill, whilst in geisha they are always dressed more subtle and mature"
      Maiko paint their top lip after the first year fulfilled as a maiko.
      They have Kanzashi (hair ornaments) that reflect the month and season, the maiko on the right and middle are senior maiko because of their whiteish collars and geisha have fully white collars to show maturity. The maiko on the left has a more red colar which means shes the youngest of the three in her training. The maiko on the right I think is named Kyouka and she did graduate to a geisha but soon after retired. She even got a modeling contract because of her perfect complexion

      @@ls76638 Sure! I'm so sorry about responding late! A lot of what I've learned came from books since at the time I became interested the topic of geisha (the year 2000) had very limited resources and even fewer reliable and truthful ones. Some books I recommend if you like to read, would be...
      1) Mineko Iwasaki's: "Geisha, a Life" which is partly what MoaG is based off of.
      2) Sayo Masuda's: "Autobiography of a geisha" which is also where MoaG draws it's inspiration from. It's about a double registered geisha who worked at a bathhouse as a geisha and partly as a prostitute. It's a fantastic but short read.
      3) Liza Dalby: Geisha - is hands down one of the best books out there and is 30 years old- an anthropologist interviews many different geisha and apprentices and retired geisha and karyukai workers. She even gets to experience what it is like to be and live as a geisha for a short time. She approaches the subject with respect and an open mind.
      4) A Geisha's Journey - My life as a Kyoto apprentice by Komomo. A mostly picture book with light reading revolving around the retired geiko named Komomo.
      5) Geisha and Maiko of Kyoto by John Paul Foster. Excellent book with interviews with actual maiko and geiko of Kyoto.
      And a really great resource is if you care to have a tumblr, there is a wonderful and informative person whom I look to for any knowledge named MissMyloko. She is usually happy to answer questions regarding the subject.
      All of the books I listed I own personally and have read multiple times.
      There are no good movies about geisha except Gion Bayashi 祇園囃子 but as a movie it's dramatized and gets one or two things wrong, possibly just for plot purposes.
